The Oxford Operatic production of 42nd Street in The New Theatre, Oxford was an all-Bladon Junior Church affair!
Junior Church staff member Peter works at The New Theatre so he spent the week either in the Fly Gallery or acting as Theatre Stage Manager.
Our Minister, Rev Jonathan Todd, was playing double base in the orchestra - under the direction of his wife Julie who was Musical Director! Julie is also a local preacher and a regular visiter to Bladon.
Meanwhile Junior Church staff member Philip was the company Deputy Stage Manager
The production ran very smoothly and received excellent reviews although with such a high calibre technical team this was only to be expected . . ! !
And the picture Peter WON'T want you to see - what he get's up to between fly cues 60 feet above the stage! Look here. Peter can relax whilst listening to talkback and jump up when he needs to do a cue.
